Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) ended Monday’s session with a slight rise by as much as 4.63 points at 11117.
More than 348 million shares were exchanged in above 149 thousand transactions at more than SAR 10.7 billion.
Seven sectors moved higher, seven others moved lower and one remained unchanged. Hotel& tourism was the top gainer (+2.14%). It was followed by telecommunications (+0.92%), then real estate development (+0.54%). Meanwhile, petrochemical industries was the biggest loser (-0.43%), followed by construction & building (-0.43%), then media & publishing (-0.3%) and multi-investment (-0.2%).
Tracking stock performance, 61 moved higher and 77 moved lower. Wafa Insurance was the best performer (+9.97%), followed by Sanad (+9.80%) and ASIG (+5.20%).
On the negative side, AXA was the worst performer (-4.73%), followed by Zamil Industrial (-1.75%) and Salama (-1.69%).
Property developer Dar Al Arkan came on top by turnover reaching SAR 861,571,477. It was followed by Alinma Bank (SAR 792,971,411), then Saudi Kayan (SAR 581,040,305).
Dar Al Arkan also came on top by traded volume (54,296,329 shares). Saudi Kayan came second (33,722,551 shares), then Zain KSA (32,905,357).
